HTC announced about this phone on 2008 September and launched 2008 November. like other upcoming and launched phones, HTC touch HD is very special phone. actually HTC touch is a upgraded version of HTC diamond phone.
This is a full featured phone with newest HTC technology. The Touch HD is a 3G phone which supports HSDPA technology. it's touch screen is very special , because it's a 3.8 inch one. also HTC has included newest technology named TouchFLO 3D finger swipe navigation feature.
like apple i-phone, this has Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate. also HTC Touch HD supports handwriting recognition feature.
The HTC Touch HD runs with Windows mobile 6.1 OS. and it has powerful hardware. it has Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 Mhz processor and 288MB RAM. also it has well featured 5MP auto focus camera with flash. the maximum camera resolution is 2592 x 1944 pixels and it supports high quality 30fps video recording. also you can even edit your pictures and videos with built-in tools.
HD Touch has built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS feature. HTC has included some special feature for it's media center. that is the YouTube client. it allows you to easily search and play YouTube videos without web browser.
