Nokia E-series is one of popular mobile phone range in Nokia. E55 is another newest phone in this range which announced in 2009 February. it is going to be launched on middle of this year. E55 is a 3G phone which supports both HSDPA and HSUPA. you can get 10.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity and 2MBps HSUPA connectivity.
every E-sires phones comes with a full QWERTY keypad but E55 has half QWERTY keypad. they have reduced it's size using this. it has 2.4 inch TFT display. E55 has 3.5mm audio jack and mini USB port.
it has 60Mb internal memory and supports up to 16GB micro SD memory cards. also it comes with a 2GB memory card. E55 has both Wi-Fi and bluetooth. it has a GPS receiver with A-GPS support. also it comes with Nokia Maps 3.0 application. as another Navigating feature, E55 has digital compass.
The main camera is 3.15Mp and it has LED flash. it has a good Document viewer application which supports many file types such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF.
